BIOGRAPHY

As far back as Roni Yadao can remember music was the glue that held her family together. Her father, a vocalist and drummer, her uncles, and her aunts were always either playing gigs or rehearsing in their garage. They set a disciplined example for the impressionable and talented girl. Roni got started early and took off in musical theater roles. At 13, she placed first in the California State Vocal competition. While still a rising star, she performed with such greats as the Velvet Fog, Mel Torme´ and jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli.

Since then music has been the catalyst for a thriving career. She has toured the US and back again playing showrooms from Las Vegas, to Lake Tahoe, to Atlantic City and countless towns in between. During multiple tours with Armed Forces Entertainment, Roni performed hundreds of shows for military personnel throughout Europe and Asia. Roni’s sultry vocal stylings are a fixture in her hometown of Sacramento, California, where she has thrilled audiences in the Capitol including Sacramento Mayor, Kevin Johnson and the City Council, California State Representatives and Dignitaries, and fans at Sacramento Kings and Rivercats Baseball games.
